So after HOURS.. should i say DAYS of trying to beat myspace code and css
into submission i have given the 48May "MaySpace" page a make-over.
It took about 30mins to design in photoshop and about 5 days trying to actually
implement so it also didn't look bad in most browsers.
At this point i have to say Internet Explorer 6's lack of support for transparency
in png's and not following other CSS standards of background images being fixed etc,
is enough to make me wanna shoot someone. The CSS hacks and workarounds
i had to do to get PNG's to work properly wouldn't have been so bad if i also didn't
have to try get around myspace's restrictive use of code.
Enough blah blah though. As far as i've tested,
(Safari, IE6, Firefox on Windows and Mac), the page looks PRETTY much how it should.
I still haven't done the blog section and i may get to that soon but for now,
i'm done trying to deal with myspace's disgusting code.
Enjoy!
